Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

Steiner Realty Inc, a Pittsburgh-based property management company, is looking for an experienced, full-time Maintenance Technician with HVAC/Plumbing skills to join up with our team of professionals. This position is for our West region which encompasses Moon Twp, Sewickley, Avalon and Bellevue. The successful candidate must be well-versed in a variety of general maintenance issues such as diagnosing and repairing HVAC units, snaking and repairing drains, installation of hot water tanks, faucets, sinks, toilets, etc. In addition to plumbing, a strong background in basic electrical issues is necessary. The candidate should have essential tools and a vehicle suitable for the trade.


**Pay rate is $21-$26/hr. based on experience.**


Work hours are 7:30-4 Monday through Friday. We offer very competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, PTO, 401K with employer contribution, health, dental and vision insurance. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses and yearly pay raise reviews. Tools, equipment, and uniforms are provided.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of clogs.
  • Ability to manage and complete daily work orders.
  • Assorted other duties and responsibilities to include general maintenance and HVAC.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience in residential and /or commercial HVAC/plumbing and electrical repair.
  • Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
  • Mastery and knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Ability to pass background check.
  • Own and be able to comfortably communicate with a smartphone.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation appropriate for construction and maintenance services.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
