Steiner Realty Inc, a Pittsburgh-based property management company, is looking for an experienced, full-time Maintenance Tech Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of committed professionals out of our West office (Moon Twp, Sewickley, Avalon and Bellevue). Serving as a “player/coach,” success in this role means you have the people skills to manage a small team and interact directly with tenants as appropriate, are good at troubleshooting, and have the knowledge and experience to jump in on just about anything our maintenance team tackles. We work with several vendors and contractors for projects that are either too large or too specialized.

You are well-versed in a variety of general maintenance issues such as diagnosing and repairing HVAC units, snaking and repairing drains, and installing hot water tanks, faucets, sinks, and toilets. Confidence with basic electrical issues is necessary. You have essential tools and a vehicle suitable for the trade.

Work hours are 7:30-4 Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

● Delegate work orders to staff’s strengths.

● Lead by example with completion of work orders and following company safety standards.

● Assorted other duties and responsibilities to include general maintenance, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.

Required Qualifications

● 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

● Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

● Excellent leadership abilities coupled with strong communication skills in English to effectively guide teams and collaborate across departments.

● Ability to pass background check.

● Valid driver’s license.

● Reliable transportation appropriate for construction and maintenance services.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
